I've been playing through Tyson's route, and I was kind of annoyed that Dave did nothing when Orlando punched Tyson and yelled at him since the poor hyena has been through a lot and seeing his best friend punch his boyfriend just felt like it was the time for Dave to snap and yell at his friends that he's a grown man who doesn't need to be babied. It just feels like a very annoying part of Dave's personality for me that he's so annoyingly passive and just never gets angry.
I'd consider that to just be an intended flaw of Dave's that he's too passive. But gets less so as the story goes on and you work through his character arc, especially once you get past day 14.
As for that scene. I don't think he was really expecting Orlando to punch Tyson and seemed a little stunned by it. I mean I wasn't at least. Even then, I don't think that was the time to get defensive over Tyson. The guy deserved some consequence over what he did. Jumping in there would have came off as blindly defending him even when he's in the wrong.
Like as much as he's my favorite character, route, and has my favorite romance, the dude earned that particular L.
Any other time though? Dave better defend his boyfriend. No more abandoning them to fight a killer rabbit alone.

I followed a guide on reddit and decided i wanted to do path B in Hoss' route since i did A on Orlando's. Problem is, revealing Oswin on day 8 and inputting the day 10 password still gives me path A. Was the guide wrong or is there another condition for path B?
Oh hey, as the owner of said guide, I am so sorry about that. I have to reveal, I still am like... Half-new, half-there to the Password Fandom (I probably joined it at the start of this year but started playing the actual game in March), so it's probably not that accurate. I apologize again. Yeah, I think there's an extra step.

I've played (and still am, it's 2:51 am) for over 4 hours straight and I feel stupid for not have put a single correct password! The title screen of Sal's bad ending is the image I saw the most in the game aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh
The worst thing is that I don't even know if the password is case sensitive.
Edit2: Wanted to make a note, the game is good, give the game a try if you haven't played it yet.
Edit3: I read half of the comments about how passwords are put on bad endings and I refuse to sleep without getting at least 1!
EDIT4 and last: I really am dumb. after trying 80% of the words at the end and pausing to read more than half of the itch.io comments I could see it (it was obvious, but give me a break I was too shocked to have noticed)

Do i have to use another password like the words on Hoss' sheet (haven't tried any of them yet btw) or do i have to try that same password some other day?
If you are still stuck, I'm pretty sure that this is the one where you have to do something you wouldn't normally do...I think reverse psychology plays a big role here
Question! I was playing on my phone but now I felt like moving to my pc, can I move the parts that were saved on my phone to my pc or do all again? not a problem, loving this so far
actually, you can! (at least, I think.) go to the application folder (should be under Android>Data) and replace the saves in your computer's app folder with those on your phone.
The reason why I'm not completely confident in this method is because I was able to successfully transfer my data from a computer to my phone through this, but I have not tested the other way around,
You need high affection before he shows you the library, the thing that tripped me up is chasing after Tyson after orlando's confession. You need to stay and talk to Hoss instead.
Mainly because it was voted upon that people wanted the good and bad timelines to alternate where possible to break up the sad content rather than get hit with it mostly all at once.
I do admit that it was sorta sad because of... Reasons, but thanks for the content anyways! At first I was hesitating a bit to play this game, but now I really like it! It does have it's sad moments of course, but I feel like its what makes this game so good!
Hello Grizz, you may remember that i somehow got patreon content on the public build from last month. I've downloaded the current version and, after testing my saves, i am happy to say that i haven't got more content than it should have. Now to waiting for another month, which i don't mind.
Again, terribly sorry that happened to you and for whatever it's worth, you weren't the only one that reported such an incident happened. Still no idea how it could have happened given the loopholes that would've needed to be jumped through in how I handle my files normally but it is what it is. Hopefully next month's content is worth the wait!
Anyone know how to read day 21/bad timeline? IDK how to get it and none of the saves I have so far will let me progress to day 21. Likely will have to start a new game.... So does anyone know what choice I have to make?
Are you doing Tyson's route by chance? You can't get to the new bad timeline with him if so, you'll stop at day 20 A/B with this update.
If you're on someone else's and can't reach day 21 path F/G, outside of redownloading the update or trying a new save file I don't know. Not inputting the password on day 17 should always lead to it.
It's always hosted on Dropbox as a default. It's because it's Easter that I kept getting called away from updating it on itch as it needs to be done manually. With Patreon I can schedule things ahead of time to launch while I can enjoy a sleep in.

I finished reading Foreign Affairs last night, after finding it linked in the comments here a few weeks ago. I have to admit I found the whole thing rather cute and funny. The language barrier between some of them and the confusion that came as a result, or, more specifically, the silliness, had me cracking up tonight. I really needed the laugh because I spe4nt several hours in the dark due to a rainstorm knocking out the power for close to five hours.
I know you've had people give mixed feelings on it, but I loved it!
Quick question: are there actually passwords to find for the vault visits on days 1-6 before stuff starts going down, or are these visits there just as a for fun/exploration kinda thing ?
Or are we wasting our time trying to find a password at this stage ?
The last April Fool's stuff I did was make Foreign Affairs which people assumed was real. Given the amount of Patrons I lost to that and hate-mail I got from fans of Tennis Ace for the audacity for attempting to steal Basket away made it very not worth it in the end.
Basket and I had fun with it, and he was great to work with, but the fan response to it on both sides left a bad taste in my mouth. I had to go back in and put in bold that it was an April Fool's joke just for posterity but even then, the damage had been done.
That's too bad people reacted negatively to it. I honestly would be intrigued if that actually happened. But to go so far as to send hate mail? I don't know if they were worth keeping then. 🙂🙂🙂

So after reviewing all the bad endings and up to date content, I believe that "Roswell" is the one behind the events, at least at one point in time. I went back to study all the deaths and out of all of them so far, Dean is the only one who suffers. He gets poisoned, Sal is frozen, Roswell is hit from behind, (possibly could've suffered) Hoss is stabbed in the chest, Orlando was injected, (?) Tyson could've suffered as well but we don't know if he died right away or not. Who could possibly have a grudge against Dean? Well, I don't want to spoil too much so I'll say; read through the game and try to put it together.😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃

But I feel that the mastermind behind this incident is Dave's mother. Indeed, there is no solid evidence yet, but I have a feeling that she is the culprit
If Florencia is the master of the Vault then I think it is her and/or Benson. Regardless...i think it is whoever the master is.
I think this entire trip was to test Morphic Resonance and the vault. Benson is loyal to the Hammond family and while most of the time is 100% loyal to Oswin, we just learned very valuable information that the ladder he follows is determined by a heirarchy, to which Oswin is not first.
We know that from the Oswin/Benson deaths, both of them were likely betrayed by the same person, and it keeps hinting that it is someone in Os' family (or at the very least he knows personally).
We also know that Thanatos only follows the commands of whoever the master of the vault is. Thanatos does not care who dies in the process.
All of these theories are so intriguing, I just can't take it!! 😩😩

I think the next update (Patreon) is going to be Day 21 of the "good" path, and we know from the last update that someone will show up on the "bad" route. But the question is: who is the traitor? They have to be in league with Memphis or maybe not, Roswell is my prime suspect but the theories being shared opened my mind to new possibilities. 😃😃😃😃
When dave asks thanatos to knock him out at the vault it also causes roswell to collapse. Thanatos's noise only works on thoes programed into the vault. On Sals route dave collapses after getting a password and Sal is completely unaffected.
Dave and Orlando are affected because of their fathers in the vault, but Roswell shouldn't be in unless he's a hammond. I think Florencia is Roswells mother.
In one of the bad path Florencia says she's only trying to save one person and will roll the dice repeating the experiment as many times as it takes.
Thanatos's master is also only intrested in saving one person. Dave is the only person who hasn't died in the vault yet (except from orlando's vission but that still hasn't happened yet) and instead it is everyone around dave targeted starting with whoever he is closest to.
If Florencia is Roswells mother you would think she would be trying to save him with what is in the vault, but she's the only one with the vaults password and she clearly never gave it to him. She could also just go and get the cure from the vault but purposely doesn't. So she must be trying to save Oz since he's given up living since the experiment gone wrong (which Sal was the only survivor).
Roswell is the only friend who thinks he needs to save Dave from himself, he also has knowledge about the house and its secret passages which he shouldn't know.
I wanted to ask. Ive recently played the new update, but I haven't got any of the new title screens yet. Is there a problem? Are the new title screens PC only?
I dont believe the new title screens are actually on in this build as when i was going through it last month i never got any. However they are in the next build, its not a big deal just a nice little thing.
so, i just finished exploring the new paths F and G, and am very confused as to what are dreams or memories or both. i suppose there is no way around it other than waiting for new updates, but i would like to know if the memories are always something that would happen at a later point, or something that could have happened earlier but didn't?
What would make it easier to figure that out? I feel like I might need to drop another line in there somewhere about the universal timeline being a constant loop of similar events but I could've sworn Roswell said something to that effect in the last few days of current content.
the confusion is mostly on how come certain events would have been possible to happen. i have to assume the variables branch off earlier than the story begins, but there is one in particular i can't figure out how it would have been possible because of a specific character showing a side that doesn't match what i know about them. maybe once we learn what is the purpose of the experiment but that's something for the end of the month most likely.
No...? The files weren't even written when I packaged those up. So what you played was absolutely the Patron build. Unless something real screwy is going on.

you can ignore the passwords before day 4 they're just for testing purposes really.
The paths are based on whether you lie to the group or not, more recently "bad" paths have been added if you don't get a certain password.

Technically none of the routes are done, but you can get much further than that. Use the same password, just try something else.

Paths go up to F for now. Paths usually differ by who is alive or not so there is quite a big difference between them and the good timeline.

A little of both. Some are route dependent, some are for Patrons and some are just for internal testing.

I feel stupid, what Kind of hints im a suppose paying attention to for the password.
Look for any specific words that stand out in the bad endings, past when you've likely needed to use one.

I also think that the thing that killed Orlando can only be owned by someone with a medical background (so far only Oswin and Dave's mother)

That's a valid point, very interesting if you think about it.
If Florencia is the master of the Vault then I think it is her and/or Benson. Regardless...i think it is whoever the master is.
I think this entire trip was to test Morphic Resonance and the vault. Benson is loyal to the Hammond family and while most of the time is 100% loyal to Oswin, we just learned very valuable information that the ladder he follows is determined by a heirarchy, to which Oswin is not first.
We know that from the Oswin/Benson deaths, both of them were likely betrayed by the same person, and it keeps hinting that it is someone in Os' family (or at the very least he knows personally).
We also know that Thanatos only follows the commands of whoever the master of the vault is. Thanatos does not care who dies in the process.
All of these theories are so intriguing, I just can't take it!! 😩😩

I think the next update (Patreon) is going to be Day 21 of the "good" path, and we know from the last update that someone will show up on the "bad" route. But the question is: who is the traitor? They have to be in league with Memphis or maybe not, Roswell is my prime suspect but the theories being shared opened my mind to new possibilities. 😃😃😃😃

When dave asks thanatos to knock him out at the vault it also causes roswell to collapse. Thanatos's noise only works on thoes programed into the vault. On Sals route dave collapses after getting a password and Sal is completely unaffected.
Dave and Orlando are affected because of their fathers in the vault, but Roswell shouldn't be in unless he's a hammond. I think Florencia is Roswells mother.
In one of the bad path Florencia says she's only trying to save one person and will roll the dice repeating the experiment as many times as it takes.
Thanatos's master is also only intrested in saving one person. Dave is the only person who hasn't died in the vault yet (except from orlando's vission but that still hasn't happened yet) and instead it is everyone around dave targeted starting with whoever he is closest to.
If Florencia is Roswells mother you would think she would be trying to save him with what is in the vault, but she's the only one with the vaults password and she clearly never gave it to him. She could also just go and get the cure from the vault but purposely doesn't. So she must be trying to save Oz since he's given up living since the experiment gone wrong (which Sal was the only survivor).
Roswell is the only friend who thinks he needs to save Dave from himself, he also has knowledge about the house and its secret passages which he shouldn't know.
I wanted to ask. Ive recently played the new update, but I haven't got any of the new title screens yet. Is there a problem? Are the new title screens PC only?
I dont believe the new title screens are actually on in this build as when i was going through it last month i never got any. However they are in the next build, its not a big deal just a nice little thing.

I was able to "ignore" this to progress.
so, i just finished exploring the new paths F and G, and am very confused as to what are dreams or memories or both. i suppose there is no way around it other than waiting for new updates, but i would like to know if the memories are always something that would happen at a later point, or something that could have happened earlier but didn't?
What would make it easier to figure that out? I feel like I might need to drop another line in there somewhere about the universal timeline being a constant loop of similar events but I could've sworn Roswell said something to that effect in the last few days of current content.
the confusion is mostly on how come certain events would have been possible to happen. i have to assume the variables branch off earlier than the story begins, but there is one in particular i can't figure out how it would have been possible because of a specific character showing a side that doesn't match what i know about them. maybe once we learn what is the purpose of the experiment but that's something for the end of the month most likely.
If you're talking about one in the latest Patron build, I'd wait until next month.

No...? The files weren't even written when I packaged those up. So what you played was absolutely the Patron build. Unless something real screwy is going on.

Find a bad ending password? How do I look for it I read carefully but I can't find it
Most passwords are hidden in the bad endings. They are either repeated or have more attention drawn to it. The first is in the letter.
You mean, the password was hidden when the character we were dating nearly died?
