So like I loaded an old save that was on one of the bad routes...but it just has the question marks right? And I played through the new content, but at the end, it said "PATH E: END" I don't remember any mention of a Path E before, but lo and behold, it showed up....is their something I'm missing? To my knowledge, the paths are determined by the choices to either reveal Oz or not, or to let *ahem* do the do (Days 8 & 10), but there's also a password on Day 11...does that have anything to do with the path you get? Prolly not, but just asking. I don't really know how to properly form my questions, so I'll just say that 1) the save file I loaded up was from Dean...the box was brown...2) the path dictator only had question marks, and by that point I was already at Day 13....and 3) I made the choice to reveal Oz and not use the Day 10 password...so that would put me on Path D....sorry if that was a little long-winded for the question of "where did Path: E come from" but hey...also, I haven't restarted any playthrough for the other Paths yet, but I justwanted to point this out in case something is off or I'm missing something...thanks!!🐊🐊
Path E should flag assuming you've revealed Oswin and failed the password on Day 10 and then... made another choice. Essentially kill off as many people as you can as fast as you can.
If you're saying you flagged this early, then... That's a problem. Funnily, there are even 3 ways to get to where you ended up, so have fun finding them all!

It confused me until I tried Hoss' path. Just wanted to point it out because I think it's awesome how detailed and fleshed out the story has been so far! Looking forward to more.
I know that i'm suppose to look for the 'password' closely. But i've been stucked with Benson's bad end (day 7) (Ty's route) and i've only found 5 words that are different from the rests but those didn't seem to worked. I have repeated over and over but came up nothings. If anyone had played though, please help me or tell me which word is should look closer (white or blue, highlighted or crooked or regular)
It'd be nice if Path C and D weren't so far behind, i feel very disappointed cause i've been looking so hard for day 10 password for an hour now, but i'm not sure If it even exists. If it does, HELP, for i am dense and need a hint. If not, i await new updates that hopefully DO have path c & d (more specifically C) because this is a good game haha
day 10 does exist current build goes to day 17 A & B. It is said a few times unless you're on sals route then its said once. The best hint is what dave thinks about at the vault ''what is the worst case senario''.
I mean... unless the password is some other variant of something i've already tried, i might not know the actual word that it wants me to input. It's so hard to explain what i've already tried without potential spoilers though. Y'know, for anyone who could scroll by this

This is very unlikely but I can't help but imagine someone just randomly guessing passwords and getting a right one by accident and how they'd react to what they see
If anyone ever has issues with me trying to control hints, this is why. Even on the server hints are restricted to a pre-approved list both so I know how to troubleshoot the difficulty but also make it so it's not just giving the answer away.
There are two hints I can give you: 1. Don't overthink it. 2. Much like Day 10, the scene before password input is a clue of where you should be looking or thinking about when trying to solve this.
Also I have a suggestion for the game. I think it would be nice for each character to have a special font color for their dialogues instead of the blueish one used in every dialogues. It would help fleshing out the characters but I guess it would take a lot of work :c.
Flesh out was maybe not the appropriate term but I felt like in Morenatsu, having a color associated with each characters was contributing to them being unique and also to their personality (like how Shin, the Shy one, got the purple color which is associated to mistery and royalty).
We have this already in part with their nameplates which will be a little more obvious when the new UI rolls out, but as far as tying colour theory to the personalities of the cast it doesn't work just from Tyson alone.
Plus there are accessibility things to consider too when it comes with balancing the colours with being readable both on PC and Mobile so I wouldn't expect anything to come of it, but I'll consider it all the same.
If you're talking about the hoss kiss one it needs high affinity. You need to spend all your time with hoss and proc all of his convosations like the one about the family in the dining room.
I'm on Dean's route and I was trying to figure out the passwords to save our beloved Butler. Since it appears we cannot say them outloud I typed one suggested in the hospital scene then typed the second one saving Benson. However, after having done that I find myself in the middle of a scene in which we are in Sal's room.
Since I found myself blocked later in the route, I try to look at what I missed and while retyping the password to save Benson, I see that there is a lot of dialogues that I didn't see as the game did not redirected me there after having typed the password for the first time.
I hope I am not to confusing, I can give you more details if needed.
No. I was on Dean's route, saved Benson and the game skipped day 7. At the begining of day 8 we are in Sal's Riom I think? So yeah, first time I typed the password, I found myself at the begining of day 8 with all day 7 skipped.
It's a misplaced flag that happens if you Resonate, not causing things to default back. I've fixed it on my end, but there won't be a hotfix until the next release likely.
A tentative no. The first password used to be in red but i think that was changed. There's another password that is hidden in plain sight thats in red later on but thats it the rest are just in the dialogue.
So I played through the new update and I'm really satisfied with where everything is right now. There's not an avalanche of questions this time around, but like a few snow boulders instead, which is good. I was especially happy that my concerns with Thanatos were confirmed, and most of the "theories" I had previously got addressed if not confirmed (also I absolutely love the Thanatos expressions🐀). I know I'm always looking for route specific stuff, but I really do appreciate that the day was geared towards Dave and the more pressing and lingering issues of the trip. It seemed like kind of a drag before, but things are finally starting to click, and I'm very excited about that. Also I like the vault scene...I like how you considered that possibility :) Thanks for another great update!🐊
Also quick question, I know that the whole is that we are Dave and all that jazz, but somewhere down the line, do you think maybe you could add his face and expressions in the text box? I know a lot of other novels that do this like Morenatsu Homecoming, Tennis Ace, Socially Awkward, and a few others I can't think of right now, but I wanted to throw out the suggestion because I think it would helps to better convey how the Dave actually feels instead of having to guess. For example, whenever he says "I shot a him a look," it's kinda weird not having said look expressed in anyway except in his words. Since he's such an expressive character in the first place, I think having this would help exaggerate his feelings and mood. Every other character has that because of their sprites, and getting to see their expressions is always good because it keeps the flow going and make the events feel......active? (dunno if that's the right word but y'know)[It'sjustbeeninmyheadforawhilesorry] And thanks once again!🐊
I'll consider it depending on how that may effect tone. Being able to see Dave's face has its pros and cons, so it'll be something to also consider for UI layout.
The main reason I've been hesitant is that it's just another whole sprite I'd need to draw and it's not something I planned on having for a quite a while yet.

The Day 17 password was a little difficult to figure out, but as always I tried to look at what idea kept repeating itself.

Benson has 3 passwords, after solving one you find the next in the new bad end you get. I think all 3 passwords are in their own bad endings.
But if you still need help there's somthing in orlando's and hoss's route that can help, it avoids 2 password so you only need to find one after it.
one of the potential passwords that word for day seven dont seem to do anything as it kills benson so i stuck there aswel

I just had the same problem. I was awfully confused when I woke up with Dean and Ty and Sal were both there too. How did you fix the problem?

There are at least 2 words you can type in that also give added text even though they are not the password. They are related to the actual password.
These words are said in the Tyson/Orlando conversations, but the actual password is ONLY in the Orlando conversation.
I think Thantanos does give the best clue of it all though. What are you afraid of?

If you're on pc just copy the save folder from the old build and paste it in the new versions game folder.

ive reread orlando's dialogue after his fight with tyson and all i got from it is that he wants to poison or straight up stab tyson lol
