They could only Grizz knows but all the previous passwords had something to do with the event you use them for or the people in those events so probably not.

So I just thought of something; there's someone behind the events of this vacation, but almost everyone dies at some point in the game. The only thing to survive period is Thanatos, this leads me to believe that someone fakes their own death or not in the mansion to begin with. Whatever the case is, something doesn't seem right with Benson's death. It seems too staged to me even some of the characters say so. Still the narrative and mysterious plot are addictive to me!! 😃😃😃😃😃

I'm still talking with Oz in the library, but as a non-english speaker I'm quite struggling to find the apprioriate questions to ask
So far I think I've managed to squeeze 12 answers out of him, but I honestly don't know what specific keywords I can use
(ok, 13 answers because I just freaking tried to hug him

I also tried multiple times to ask him why was I the one he contacted (and not Orlando, for instance since he also had a vision with the vault) but failed to have him answered me anything
The talk with Oz is just for aditional info, you won't get a bad end just for not asking things. Though some things can give aditional dialoge like asking him if he 'likes hansel and gretel'.
As for the orlando question i think if you ask him about 'recorded surveillance' might help.
As a completionist, I'm gonna aim for every end (even the bad ones) but I would like to avoid being stuck somewhere in the story because I missed something

I already love Dean (you know, bears) but I also know thanks to Echo that "antagonistic" characters like Tyson are usually the best boys, can't wait to do his route !
I've just finished the first day 6 (Sal's), it was interesting
(didn't really know the password would be THAT obvious so I kept trying different words I saw in the dialogues, it was fun trying to find the right one before I got the answer tho)
Oh so that's what the different paths meant in the save slots, I thought it was the different routes (in addition to the save files colours)

No problem. It does catch people out, paths are the story and routes are the flavour that goes along with it.
For example if Dave is meant to react to somthing in the story that will happen no matter who's route you are on. The routes are flavour, who will be at daves side when he reacts.
Thats very vague. So you can get to day 19 but get a bad end everytime? The actual day is important because as in the title the VN needs you to find passwords in the text to avoid bad ends, and there's alot of passwords. So simply saying 'the whole route' is not easy for anyone to help you.
If you do literally mean 'i want everything spoon fed to me with every password', you aren't going to get an answer because that would spoil it for anyone else trying to do it themselfs and only wanting hints from the comments.
Playing through Sal's route on path A. It seems like there are parts that don't register and repeat at a later date.

So Sal and Dave already confessed to each other in a way at an earlier day, not sure which one. Now on day 18 Sal is confessing again and Dave is surprised about it, sort of as if the previous day's confessions never happened in this route.
Guessing it will be remedied at some point but wanted to point it out just in case no one else has.
The first password (around day 6 for everyone but Roswell i think) is different for each character and is found in the bad endings look for a word that stands out from the others.
Each password can usually be found in the bad endings and if it isn't in there it's usually in the same day you go to the vault.
No problem the first few times you go to the vault are just for easter eggs and for Grizz to test stuff so the vault works the way it's meant too.
Also a few other things :
When you can look at the name of the coffee cup just put 'Dave'. The cup isn't for changing your name it unlocks some easter eggs but otherwise it just gives you +1 affection with whatever character's name is on it. Putting 'Dave' gives +1 to everyone which can help if you want to get some of the better interactions like hugging someone when they're sad.
The choice that locks in what route you are on is when you pick who your partner is for the scavenger hunt.
If you've done that, focus there rather than anywhere else.
If you're still struggling, and you've been skim reading, stop. You won't progress like that. If you're still struggling after that, then I don't know how else to help you as it's a core mechanic you should be learning.
As Grizz said; If you play through it at a normal pace then the password will appear somewhere in the text. Just pay attention to what youre reading and look for any suspicious words that could be a clue. As a hint I will tell you that the password has something to do with how they die.
If you are really struggling, you could look inside the scripts for the game and find it out that way. You won't get anyone directly telling you the password, those comments just get deleted.
I've never got the whole ''ooo murder mystery i wanna do that but can i have all the answers''. Its a mystery you're meant to figure out. If you want things more spoon fed, ordinary story VNs are a thing.
Why go for a mystery VN if you don't want to deal with the mystery. Though i do get it somewhat it why people read miss marple books. The mystery is engaging keeping you on the edge of your seat and you know in the end it'll all be explained. Doesn't really happen when you change the genre to one that needs your imput rather than just observing.
I read all of it and kept asking myself…why do people want this again? Like it’s well written and all that, but I couldn’t imagine something like that in the real story…with any character…not even Dean.
1. Sex, much like death, when handled correctly in fiction mark a change in relationship dynamic. Granted this is when you write a sex scene, not a porn scene where the underlying goal for each is radically different. In this case, what I presented was very much trying to blend the two as I tried to cater to those that just wanted porn while also catering to myself who wanted to watch the shift between Dave and Tyson. Because it marks the change of Tyson and Dave's relationship from brothers to something more romantic, it should be in-game rather than censored.
2. Furries be horny. They want the sex scenes because other furry visual novels have them. They're not wrong for wanting it or even expecting it as there are more VNs with them than without. Or at the very least promising them. So with that there's a level of feeling cheated out of what would be a "reward" come the end of a character arc with it not being in-game.
Though I consider the reward having them alive instead of well... y'know.
That makes sense…I don’t really mind having sex scenes in VNs, but I’d rather have it matter than just on a whim I suppose…but that’s just me personally :)

In this case it does matter because of what you said…like with Dean, that actually made an impact in their relationship. But as much as I love Sal to death, it’d be kinda mortifying to imagine him having sex with Dave. I’m not gonna specifically name them, but in some of the furry VNs I’ve been playing and have newly found out about, the past updates have just been sex…I guess I’m a little burned out of it lmao…it’s kind of annoying to be excited for a story update and then sex happens throughout most of it, or the update is just one sex scene and done…nothing against the creators, but I feel like they’re in this gray area between giving fanservice, story, or both :(

Most of the passwords work for different people. So, say you put in the password for Hoss on day Seven, it won't work for Dean's day Seven. Other than that I don't know how to help.
You said passwords work for diferent people but thats only true for the first one currently. The OP also said he knows the passwords so he's already experianced with the system and most probably knows when the passwords worked in the past. You also didn't note that the day to use rosswells password was changed.

Hello Grizz, I have found a bug of some sort. It is after putting in, I believe its spelled "Timber" when the gang gets off the bus and the driver talks to Dave, it says something found in red font in the upper left corner.
Edit: I forgot to mention that it's the Android version.

It's a murder mystery. Answering everything in broad strokes, without being spoiler free, on the main page of the game would defeat the purpose of playing it in the first place.
If you're wanting a central theme for what Password is about, then "dealing with trauma and grief" is not a bad one. Naturally as the one making it I'd recommend playing it rather than reading a synopsis, especially while it's in development.
I don't understand your last question, but each of Dave's friends is a potential "route" to flavour the mystery but dating them isn't mandatory. As such there's no harem route where you date all of them at once. Nor can you 'date' any of the supporting cast either.

I've come to warn that there is a lil error i think in day 18, path A of Roswell's route. It's a simple error. While Dave and Roswell are talking outside, Dave asks himself if he's okay? pretty sure it was supposed to be Roswell saying it ^^

How will I know if I am on track for Tyson's romantic stuff? Tyson's route is pretty much the one I focus on these days, but it always seems like no matter what options I pick, he seems weirded out or freaked if I try to get too romantic or sappy with him.
Tyson's route is always a whirlwind one with alot of whiplash even when you successfully romance him. Thing to remember is tyson doesn't know himself or his own thoughts and also doesn't believe he deserves to be loved.
Adding to what's been said, as long as you're picking the more affectionate dialogue options in general you'll be on the right track.
Him pulling away and being cold or difficult after being warm is normal. Well, maybe not "normal" exactly, but you're not doing anything wrong gameplay wise.
There are a couple of times I do think you need to hold back though. Like with the hug/kiss choice early on. I always go for the hug because it feels nicer and has the better dialogue afterwards. Trying to kiss there just sort of ends the scene and makes him freak out. I might be wrong of course, but the hug always plays into the "be patient but loving" path I always try to steer Dave down.

I managed to find the password so I unlocked paths A and C
However as I loaded the save where I revealed Oz during day 8, I keep ending up on paths A or C, can't get the B and D
Did I miss something ?
No thats just the first step you need the decision on day 10 then you can get to b and d

Because I've reached day 11 for paths A and C (so supporting Benson on Day 8 and choosing or not to use the password)
But on the other save, where I revealed Oz on day 8 (and where Benson left), when I arrive on day 11 I'm either on paths A or C
Is there another choice to make on day 10 that could lead me to these paths ? Or maybe it'll switch to paths B and D later, like on day 11 or 12 ?

I read all of it and kept asking myself…why do people want this again? Like it’s well written and all that, but I couldn’t imagine something like that in the real story…with any character…not even Dean.
There's a couple schools of thought with this:
1. Sex, much like death, when handled correctly in fiction mark a change in relationship dynamic. Granted this is when you write a sex scene, not a porn scene where the underlying goal for each is radically different. In this case, what I presented was very much trying to blend the two as I tried to cater to those that just wanted porn while also catering to myself who wanted to watch the shift between Dave and Tyson. Because it marks the change of Tyson and Dave's relationship from brothers to something more romantic, it should be in-game rather than censored.
2. Furries be horny. They want the sex scenes because other furry visual novels have them. They're not wrong for wanting it or even expecting it as there are more VNs with them than without. Or at the very least promising them. So with that there's a level of feeling cheated out of what would be a "reward" come the end of a character arc with it not being in-game.
Though I consider the reward having them alive instead of well... y'know.

That makes sense…I don’t really mind having sex scenes in VNs, but I’d rather have it matter than just on a whim I suppose…but that’s just me personally :)

In this case it does matter because of what you said…like with Dean, that actually made an impact in their relationship. But as much as I love Sal to death, it’d be kinda mortifying to imagine him having sex with Dave. I’m not gonna specifically name them, but in some of the furry VNs I’ve been playing and have newly found out about, the past updates have just been sex…I guess I’m a little burned out of it lmao…it’s kind of annoying to be excited for a story update and then sex happens throughout most of it, or the update is just one sex scene and done…nothing against the creators, but I feel like they’re in this gray area between giving fanservice, story, or both :(

Has the previous passwords changed? Every time I try insert one, say the password is not for that day.
Possible Soilers?:
Most of the passwords work for different people. So, say you put in the password for Hoss on day Seven, it won't work for Dean's day Seven. Other than that I don't know how to help.

You said passwords work for diferent people but thats only true for the first one currently. The OP also said he knows the passwords so he's already experianced with the system and most probably knows when the passwords worked in the past. You also didn't note that the day to use rosswells password was changed.

Hello Grizz, I have found a bug of some sort. It is after putting in, I believe its spelled "Timber" when the gang gets off the bus and the driver talks to Dave, it says something found in red font in the upper left corner.
Edit: I forgot to mention that it's the Android version.
It's been fixed on my end. It was reported to the server earlier so will be patched the next time the patron update rolls down likely.

It's a murder mystery. Answering everything in broad strokes, without being spoiler free, on the main page of the game would defeat the purpose of playing it in the first place.
If you're wanting a central theme for what Password is about, then "dealing with trauma and grief" is not a bad one. Naturally as the one making it I'd recommend playing it rather than reading a synopsis, especially while it's in development.
I don't understand your last question, but each of Dave's friends is a potential "route" to flavour the mystery but dating them isn't mandatory. As such there's no harem route where you date all of them at once. Nor can you 'date' any of the supporting cast either.

The story and characters are more independent from each other. For example if Dave (you) is meant to react to somthing in the story that will happen no matter who's route you are on, the routes are what flavour you want to go along with the story. Who will be at daves side when he reacts.
When you can look at the name of the coffee cup just put 'Dave'. The cup isn't for changing your name it unlocks some easter eggs but otherwise it just gives you +1 affection with whatever character's name is on it. Putting 'Dave' gives +1 to everyone which can help if you want to get some of the better interactions like hugging someone when they're sad.
Passwords are usually in the bad ending and is a word that is usually repeated or has more attention drawn to it. If it isn't in the bad ending it's usually in the same day you can go to the vault. The early days (day 1-3) you can go to the vault and thats just for easter eggs not for a needed password.
The choice that locks in what route you are on is when you pick who your partner is for the scavenger hunt.

Benson has 3 passwords, you find each in the bad ending. Using one will lead to a new chain of events where you can find the next.

How will I know if I am on track for Tyson's romantic stuff? Tyson's route is pretty much the one I focus on these days, but it always seems like no matter what options I pick, he seems weirded out or freaked if I try to get too romantic or sappy with him.
Tyson's route is always a whirlwind one with alot of whiplash even when you successfully romance him. Thing to remember is tyson doesn't know himself or his own thoughts and also doesn't believe he deserves to be loved.
Also his feelings for Dave are so gay, they're right in the back of the closet with Narnia. Good luck finding them, in other words.

Adding to what's been said, as long as you're picking the more affectionate dialogue options in general you'll be on the right track.
Him pulling away and being cold or difficult after being warm is normal. Well, maybe not "normal" exactly, but you're not doing anything wrong gameplay wise.
There are a couple of times I do think you need to hold back though. Like with the hug/kiss choice early on. I always go for the hug because it feels nicer and has the better dialogue afterwards. Trying to kiss there just sort of ends the scene and makes him freak out. I might be wrong of course, but the hug always plays into the "be patient but loving" path I always try to steer Dave down.
